Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez competes soon against fellow big hitting Mexican Jaime Munguia where all four world title belts at 168 lbs. will be on the line.
Ahead of the fight he is clearly sharp as recent training footage shows him halting a sparring partner temporarily with a body shot (at 16 minutes 40 seconds in here – hat tip DAZN YouTube)

The body shot even with the big gloves causing the sparring partner to be unable to continue for a time.
Alvarez is up against one of boxing’s most dangerous fighters in Munguia however – who is a remarkable 43-0-34 KO.
In pursuit of Floyd Mayweather’s 50-0 record and will be looking to take out Alvarez on route.
The fight takes place this weekend coming May 4th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
