The pound for pound best fighter in the world has had his first fight of 2024 now formally confirmed.
Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford takes on Israil Madrimov August 3rd in LA and has had a laugh at promoter Eddie Hearn this week:

Crawford took out Errol Spence by TKO in 2023.
Patient, calm, took him into deep water and then some, and drowned him, basically.
This a more low key fight first up in 2024 but still a test.
As for the laugh at Hearn, indeed, yes, Hearn has made a real mess and dogs dinner of the US wasting hundreds of millions of dollars.
That said, he and Hall of Famer Warren doing great things in Saudi Arabia at the moment – a nation in direct competition with America more than ever to win boxing over, and boxing fans’ hearts.
