Olympic Boxing In Trouble Boxing Must Change

We have been keeping an eye on recent developments for amateur boxing recently:

No good.

That’s wrong.

Unacceptable.

Change.

Do the right thing.

We all in life must change our ways for the better.

Ourselves included.

It is up to those in world boxing to pressure that gent from Russia above to do the right thing. The light must be turned on him to help Olympic Boxing survive.

If some have to do an international vote to seize the power from Russia and Switzerland – do it – take over the amateur game to the appropriate players who may need to (maybe the WBC would be good to run Olympic boxing instead?).

Otherwise the sport we all love at amateur level is in trouble in the Olympics.

Do what must be done.

Without grassroots boxing there is no big time boxing.

It is unfortunate that for some time amateur boxing has not been in a good place.

That said, boxing has to make the best of what they can with it.

Unfortunately the amateur game is in a heap at the moment but professional boxing worldwide overall must move forward.

Professional boxing will move forward.

Boxing will move forward.
