Mayweather: I Will Have A NBA Team

Undefeated boxing all-time great and businessman Floyd Mayweather is involved in a number of pies outside of boxing these days.

And other sports — from NASCAR to now even NBA.

Speaking in a media press scrum ahead of his latest fight in Japan this weekend — Mayweather confirmed he will own and bring an NBA basketball team to Las Vegas:

‘I’m going to have a (NBA) team whether it’s in Vegas or not in Vegas. I will have a team. I’ve been working on that for a good while now. I’ve been working behind the scenes. I didn’t want to bring it out until it’s engraved in stone.’

Mayweather competes in a boxing exhibition this weekend in Japan that is expected to garner significant attention.
