George Foreman Reveals Hardest Puncher He Faced

George Foreman the oldest heavyweight champion in boxing history was in some legendary fights in the sport’s history for sure.

Boxing fans remember them well and obviously the Rumble in the Jungle will always be fondly remembered.

Foreman often spoke how Sonny Liston was the only man to ever make him back up in the ring and aggressive enough to get his respect in that regard.

But, it was someone else who hit harder it turns out:

Gerry Cooney once said that Foreman hit him so hard that a bone broke into his eye almost.

So for Foreman to speak in that way about Lyle — shows how hard Lyle must have hit.
