Russia’s Artur Beterbiev made a case for a possible shot at pound for pound number one Saul Canelo Alvarez at some point in the future.

Mexico’s Alvarez is thought to be moving to cruiserweight next up and after that light-heavyweight could be another option.

So many good fights there for Alvarez in the years ahead with the likes of David Benavidez not to forget either.

Beterbiev would be a legit test though with the 36-year-old’s power shown again this weekend.
