Terence Crawford Brutally Honest With Jermell Charlo After Draw

Pound for pound rated Terence Crawford is still looking to secure his first fight of 2021 as things stand but hopefully news should be forthcoming on that soon.

He’s been keeping an eye on all the big fights like any other boxing fan for the meantime and gave his thoughts on last weekend’s big fight in Texas:

Charlo fought to a draw with Brian Castano.

Pound for pound is always a mythical and subjective list anyway but most would certainly have Crawford very high in it.

A complete fighter as far as boxing ability and mentality goes.

His last fight came to Kell Brook last year in ‘The Bubble’ of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas during the world situation.

A fight he stopped Brook in.

It just seems like Crawford badly needs that big break out fight to make him a star outside of just boxing to the mainstream sport fan.

Like his ability deserves.

Obviously a fight with Errol Spence would do this in the welterweight division.

Spence takes on boxing legend Manny Pacquiao next month first however.
