Easy to kick a fighter when he is down.
Certainly some are taking the opportunity to do so at the moment on Conor McGregor, who suffered a significant injury to his angle and leg tonight.
Some of it is harmless, friendly banter also, to be fair. Nothing more.
Some to stoke potential for a future fight and pay day that McGregor would bring. Given his huge star power and name. Conor McGregor is a very wealthy man and could care less of course one suspects.
Paulie Malignaggi, the former world champion and respected commentator, knows McGregor well.
He was drafted in as a key sparring partner a few years ago before McGregor boxed Floyd Mayweather.
Subsequently the two fell out.

In this crazy world today, sure, nothing would be a surprise.
