This weekend saw likely the end of the boxing career of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
It had become a bit of a joke in recent years anyway in truth with continued failure to make the weight for an incredible amount of bouts.
That said, this weekend was a less serious bout and more for entertainment but even still, he didn’t make weight again.
The son of boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. was defeated by mixed martial arts fight legend under boxing rules in the form of Anderson Silva of Brazil.
An old man now who hadn’t been active in years but still showed why really, he’s one of the best fighters that ever lived, still able to come back and move to boxing to beat Chavez Jr.
