This weekend was all about Filipino boxing legend Nonito ‘The Flash’ Donaire.
Surely a future Hall of Fame fighter.
He became the oldest bantamweight champion in history.
Done so via a clock turning back performance and knockout victory.
Showing age is just a number.
His attitude in the ring and outside of the ring a real insight into admirable behavior to any young aspiring boxers out there.
Boxers, and, the boxing world at large, were very impressed with what they saw:
Maybe a big rematch with Inoue awaits next up.
Whatever the case there will be more opportunities.
Great win.
A great moment in boxing history this weekend.
