Whatever your definition or understanding is of how the modern day world titles are set up, for someone to become undisputed champion in any era is quite the accomplishment.
In the old days there was only one belt of course per division where it was much easier to see who the champion was.
In each weight class.
These days things are not that clear but some believe if you have three out of the four belts than you are pretty much undisputed champion.
Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis made a strong point after last weekend’s latest undisputed champion:
Lewis has a career to remember for sure.
Now it is Josh Taylor’s time.
Exciting things to come for Taylor.
Undisputed fights are hard to make.
Certainly a good thing for boxing when more of them happen.
