George Foreman Reveals His Two Key Training Methods When Champion

There has been a lot of modern day scientific advancements when it comes to professional athletes’ training methods and recovery tools.

Both are equally key along with supplements and diet but one of boxing’s heavyweight legends made a good point.

Boxing is one of those sports where hard work and old fashioned training methods have stood the test of time for many years.

For good reason.

Indeed, oldest heavyweight champion in boxing history George Foreman narrowed it down to two for him when he was champion.

Speaking on Twitter Foreman told fans his key component was:

“Shadow boxing and wood chopping was my main ingredient. Back in the day.”

Shadow boxing has been around since the start of the sport.

Wood chopping still used by many boxers where appropriate in today’s times depending on where they are.

Each boxer will have their own unique training regime usually.
