Women’s Boxing Champion Hits Back At Critics

Female boxing champion Mikaela Mayer has started her professional career strongly in recent years.

Following a stellar amateur career with USA Boxing.

Mayer is one of many female boxers like Claressa Shields, Heather Hardy, the Serrano sisters, Katie Taylor, Savannah Marshall, Jessica McCaskill, Ebanie Bridges, Shannon Courtenay, Natasha Jonas among many others all looking to propel women’s boxing to new heights this year.

Mayer has been vocal on social media in recent times towards detractors across the pond and now has taken aim at some of her male critics:

Like Ebanie Bridges — Mayer is obviously a good looking girl but also like Bridges — has backed up all her talk in the ring.

Proving she can very much fight.

And crucially also in the case of Mayer, done so in the amateur ranks as well.

Mayer has taken a long road to get where she is today.

She is currently the WBO women’s super featherweight champion.

Mayer holds a professional record of 14-0-5 KO.

She has been linked with a potential fight against Ireland’s Katie Taylor later in the year.
