The Boxing World Reacts To The Passing Of DMX

Rap artist, writer and actor DMX (“Dark Man X”) passed away on April 9th, 2021.

The cause of death has been reported as organ failure.

Following a serious heart attack at his home on April 2nd.

It is understood that the rapper, real name Earl Simmons, fought to the end in his hospital bed.

The New Yorker not only made a significant contribution to popular culture in America and worldwide through his work but even on the boxing world.

One of his songs that is linked to the boxing world in particular is one that a certain Mike Tyson used when he returned to the sport in the second half of his career:

DMX was 50-years-old at the time he left this world.
