Adrien Broner Makes Big Claim About The Charlo Brothers

Controversial boxer and former four-weight world champion Adrien Broner has been taking to social media to pass the pandemic quarantine.

He’s mentioned that although the Charlo brothers are much bigger than him he’d have no problem getting in there and sparring them.

He’s made the remarks in a video on social media that seems to be evoking a fair bit of responses from fans:

Broner has been fighting at welterweight in recent years with his last bout in the ring a loss to Manny Pacquiao in January of 2019.

He’s been inactive for prolonged periods in his career due to various issues he’s had outside the ring.

Welterweight was always a big jump up in weight.

Broner realistically is no more than between a lightweight to super-lightweight naturally at this point.

The Charlo brothers are super-welterweight and middleweight respectively and world championship caliber on top of that.

To claim he’d step in there and spar them so easily is a bit of a stretch in fairness.

Broner fighting either one of them isn’t realistic anytime soon.

Despite being a polarizing figure in the sport — Broner still commands a large fan base and does bring a lot of money to his fights.

For that reason, although he’s been very inactive and not in good form in the ring in recent years — I’d expect him to still land big and meaningful fights for his name alone.
