Watch: Deontay Wilder Goes Full Training Day Movie Mode On Luis Ortiz

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder recorded an emphatic knockout victory this past weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

In a rematch against Cuban Luis Ortiz, Wilder was behind on most people’s scorecards when he produced a right hand in round 7 that ended the contest.

A shot that hurt Ortiz to his core and one that he could not recover from.

Following the fight Wilder and PBC Fox have come up with a clip taken from the hit movie ‘Training Day’ where Wilder does his own cameo of this popular Denzel Washington scene:

Ah yeah, good stuff.

On a serious boxing note, Wilder will have very serious business to knuckle down again in the not too distant future.

Namely a rematch with Manchester’s Tyson Fury which is expected early in the new year.

The pair fought to a draw in their first fight last year where Wilder scored a knockdown in round 12 only to see Fury arise and come back to win the round in a classic moment in boxing history:
