Katie Taylor added a third world title to her growing professional collection on Friday night after a highly impressive display in the ring once again.
Given a good fight early on by a game Brazilian challenger Rose Volante, Taylor’s vicious and machine-like assault on her opponent was just too much in the end as she won by ninth round TKO to kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend in style for the Irish.
After the fight Taylor called out Amanda Serrano and questioned how much heart she has if she doesn’t take her on.
The win on Friday night improved Taylor’s pro record to 13-0-6KO.
