Heavyweight David Price Next Opponent Confirmed

Liverpool’s big hitting David Price returns to action on March 30th fighting in his hometown live on DAZN in the US and on Sky Sports in the UK.

Price will take on Birmingham’s undefeated heavyweight prospect Kash Ali.

The Liverpool native is coming off the back of a stoppage win last time out against Tom Little after a tough few years since 2015 that have seen the once world touted fighter suffer four defeats in that period.

The main event will see former WBO Super-Welterweight World Champion Liam Smith make his eagerly anticipated Liverpool homecoming against Sam Eggington.

Prospect Anthony Fowler will also feature on the card with a win potentially setting him up for a European title shot later in the year.

All in all, not a bad card and it will be interesting to see how much Price has left.

He’s only 35 which for heavyweights of the past at least isn’t that old and he still has enough single punch power to knock any man in the world out cleanly if he lands.

Many felt Price’s career was rushed along too early and after back to back losses to American Tony Thompson early on it was hard to get his confidence back early on into his career from there on out.

The power he has though will always make him dangerous for any fight for any heavyweight as long as he chooses to box professionally.
