Terence Crawford Surprised By Broner Against Pacquiao

WBO welterweight world champion Terence Crawford was routing for Adrien Broner in his recent bout against Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas in a bout that PacMan ultimately ran out a clear victor in via unanimous points decision.

Many after the fight pointed to Broner’s low punch volume as his main downfall on the night.

Indeed, this is something that Crawford also feels as when speaking on an Instagram live to boxing fans he said:

“Man, I don’t know what was up with Broner? He should have thrown more punches but who am I to say he throw more punches because I wasn’t in there taking the blows. He got that check and that’s all that matters.”

As for Crawford, he has big plans next up.

He’ll get his first big name on his record in the form of Amir Khan on April 20th at a venue in the US that should be confirmed very shortly pending news on where and when Anthony Joshua will box his next fight.

This is the case as if Joshua was to continue his plans to fight on April 13th this could affect Crawford vs Khan being able to be put on pay per view in the UK with only a week separating the two bouts.
