Gervonta Davis is currently in deep preparations for his next bout against Mexican multi-weight world champion Abner Mares next month on February 9th in Carson.
The talented undefeated fighter (20-0-19KO) was a world champion up until 2017 when he only lost his title on the scales for failing to make weight on the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor card at the time in Vegas.
2018 wasn’t one of his best years either, in terms of activity and problems with the head of his promotional company, Floyd Mayweather.
But he appears to be back on track this year with a solid fight in Mares to kick off 2019 next month.
