Irish UFC and mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor has had one professional fight in the sport of boxing at this time.
It came in September 2017 against Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas where he was stopped inside the distance after a valiant effort early on in the fight.
Floyd Mayweather’s skills and McGregor fatiguing as the fight went on ultimately allowed American Mayweather to close the show when he chose to in the end.
But it would appear McGregor might not be just finished in boxing after all:
McGregor’s boss at the UFC Dana White has also started to finally roll out his plans to get into the sport of boxing with a recent confirmation that Roy Jones Jr Promotions (boxing) had signed a deal to show professional boxing on the UFC Fight Pass Platform.
Conor McGregor’s professional boxing record stands at 0-1 at this particular time.
McGregor also posted on social media in recent days of his desire to take on Floyd Mayweather recently beaten boxing exhibition Tenshin in a fight of their own before the summer.
