Canelo Alvarez showed once again why he’s considered one of the best fighters in the world last night with an emphatic display against Liverpool’s Rocky Fielding at Madison Square Garden.
Alvarez closed the show inside 3 last night in what proved to be a masterclass in his first fight up at 168lbs.
Straight after the fight speaking at the post-fight press conference he made no secret of what his future intentions were as regarding his next fight.
Speaking at the post fight press conference he said:
“I felt that it ended on September 15 and I showed that I was best, but they were two great fights that’s no secret, and if the people want it, we can make it.”
A third fight with Golovkin seems to be still by far the biggest fight out there for both fighters at the moment.
Both their fights so far as spectacles have been hugely thrilling and you’d have to think a third fight would sell well once again with fans.
