Both Khan and Brook have been linked with a fight against one another for what could be close to a decade at this stage.
Ever since the pair turned pro they’ve been constantly linked with a fight against one another but to this day, it is yet to ever come to fruition.
Tonight Kell Brook looked an aged fighter in his unanimous points win in Sheffield against Michael Zerafa.
Perhaps Brook at this stage is not the man he was before his losses to Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence but in saying that, a fight with Amir Khan although well overcooked at this stage — would still be a big sell in 2019.
It’s also a fight the public would never forgive either for if they didn’t get it on before retirement.

In theory you’d think that would make the fight with Brook easier to make but trying to equate any sort of logic or rational thought in a sport as unpredictable as the fight business has taught this writer to take things with a pinch of salt over the years.
All in all, a Khan vs Brook fight is still one that the public would tune into in their droves.
