The WBC heavyweight championship fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury now has a set price for people wishing to buy the fight.

If you’re in the US it will cost $74.99 on Showtime pay per view with a free month’s subscription to Showtime included if you buy the fight to watch through the Showtime app.

If you are in the UK it will cost £19.95 on BT Sport pay per view.

All in all, around what most were expecting on the balance of things.

It will be interesting to hear what numbers the fight does in both the US and UK market considering it’s the biggest heavyweight title fight between an American and a Brit since Lennox Lewis stopped Mike Tyson over a decade and a half ago.

The fight will take place at the Staples Centre in LA so for those in the UK it will be an early morning start next Sunday morning whereas local time on the West coast of the US — it should kick off around the 10pm mark.

That said, there’s also a lot of interesting action on the undercard with three world title fights in total on the whole card and some very interesting heavyweight action involving rising prospect Joe Joyce and established veteran Luis Ortiz.
