The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world has come in for some criticism online following recent comments pertaining to current champ Anthony Joshua.
Lennox Lewis for anyone who followed his career is widely considered to be the best heavyweight of his era.
He beat every man he ever faced as a pro in that the only couple of defeats he did have — he avenged.
In convincing fashion too.
He also beat the likes of Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson who were the other two best heavyweights considered in his era.
All be it he beat a shell of a Mike Tyson when they did eventually fight in the end.
Recently Lewis was involved in the new PBC on Fox launch in the US and it brought about some criticism after alleged comments he made about Anthony Joshua being more concerned with the business side of the sport than being a champion and taking on all comers.
Here’s how Lewis has responded:
???Yes, I did FIGHT for ?? IN the olympics and for ?? as a pro. AJ is the man in HW division and i’m hoping he’s striving to be next undisputed champion just as i did for ?? https://t.co/QwGnNYjct0

Joshua will not box again this year but the fight everyone is hoping for is him against the winner of the upcoming WBC heavyweight title fight between Deontay Wilder and challenger Tyson Fury.
One undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in 2019 would once again propel boxing to the masses if politics and egos can be put aside and the fight can be made.
