It’s a fight that seems to have captured a lot of intrigue since its announcement recently — in that it should offer a pretty competitive bout between two men very well-known to American boxing fans.

Both multi-weight world champions, it is thought that the fight on January 19th will be at the welterweight limit and in Las Vegas when officially announced today.

Pacquiao has had some well documented issues with the IRS in the US but they appear to have been resolved as he entered the country no problem yesterday and with today’s press conference to announce the fight in the US.

It would appear Al Haymon (his new adviser) was able to do something Bob Arum could not do in that regard and Pacquiao is now set to have the final two fights of his career in the US by all accounts.
