For those thinking that either guy was not interested in the fight, think again. Both boxers have met for the first time in person and posted the below video online of the meeting.

Welterweight world champions Terence Crawford and Errol Spence are considered by many to be two of the best fighters in the world pound for pound.

Or at least in most people’s top five-pound for pound list.

A fight between the two seems hard to make on paper however as both are with rival promoters, TV networks and online streaming platforms.

Crawford with Bob Arum and Top Rank, Spence with adviser Al Haymon and Showtime / Fox.

If a fight were to be made though you’d have to think both networks would need to come together in a similar way that HBO and Showtime did for Mayweather vs Pacquiao and Tyson vs Lewis.

The thing is though, this fight might not be that big just yet so the amount of money it generates probably wouldn’t be enough to convince networks to work with one another at this point in time.
