Jermell Charlo Picks Winner In Pacquiao vs Broner

WBC super-welterweight world champion Jermell Charlo is getting ready for his next defense but took time out recently to talk about another big fight.

Charlo has been doing the media rounds this week with his brother Jermall as the two were present at the Fox Sports announcement for Premier Boxing Champions this week.

Jermell will fight again before the year is out on December 22nd against Tony Harrison at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Speaking to EsNews, Charlo said picked his winner in the upcoming Pacquiao vs Broner fight:

“I’m rocking with Broner right now because he’s hungry again, he’s ambitious. He’s ready to fight, He’s ready to win, he’s ready do his thing.”

Perhaps a surprising pick to some as most seem to have Pacquiao favorite at this point.

Largely down to the fact you never really know what type of Adrien Broner will turn up on fight night, how motivated he’s been in training camp and how he has been living outside of the ring coming up to his fights.

By all accounts he’s finally got his love and passion for boxing back and is thought to be training extremely hard ahead of the January 19th bout against Manny Pacquiao.
