Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner will very shortly both be in hard preparations for a fight with one another in the early new year. Now, according to a trusted source and friend of Boxing News and Views, we know where the fight will happen and the date.
As expected and reported by Broner on social media recently, according to a trusted source and friend of Boxing News and Views, the bout will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on January 19th, 2019.
We are told Manny wanted the venue as he is rather superstitious and is fond of the MGM after it has played host to many a popular night for him in his career previously.
Broner is already down to business in terms of putting in some hard work in the gym as he bids to recapture former glory and the form needed frankly to beat someone of the pedigree of Pacquiao.
Pacquiao comes into the fight as a slight betting favorite but he knows that he can’t overlook someone as talented and young as Broner.
Particularly with a Floyd Mayweather rematch at stake for later in 2019.
Mayweather will take on an undefeated kick boxer on December 31st in Tokyo but provided he gets through that, wins and is injury free, it is understood that he then wishes to face Pacquiao in a rematch later in 2019.
