Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed a bold claim about what he alleges happened one day when he challenged current heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to a bare knuckle fist fight. One to one, man to man – with no cameras present.
When you think about the level of carnage and sheer violence involved with people like Fury and Joshua having a fight and hitting someone bare knuckle in the street, someone could actually get killed.
But a fight between the two in this type of format, although not exactly legal, would probably do more pay per view buys than anything in history.
Think about it, how many people would see to see the two have a street fight? I’m guessing quite a lot.
Speaking to Brendan Schaub on Showtime’s ‘Below The Belt’ Fury opened up on what happened when he came face to face with Anthony Joshua one day outside of the ring:
“I know you have to possess balls of steel to step in the ring with Tyson Fury and they (team Joshua) don’t. They possess fannies, they possess m****s. He seems pretty spirited doesn’t he? But when I stood face to face with him and asked him – do you want to get outside (and fight)? His a*** started flapping like that. He s*** himself. It doesn’t matter what weight I was at the time. I wasn’t in shape but I would have taken him outside and slit his c*** right in. If a man said that to me I don’t care if I was unfit or not he’d be outside and punched. He’d have to fight. Simple. I don’t care who he is or what he is. I said that to him and he didn’t want to know.”
Fury is due to fight Deontay Wilder on December 1st in the ring, not outside of it, in LA.
