Uber-talented but currently stuck in career limbo Gervonta Davis has now named who exactly he wants to get in the ring and fight next.
Davis has been sidelined for sometime now with frosty relations between him and his promoter Floyd Mayweather but there’s another thing people have not considered either.
Davis’ manager and Premier Boxing Champions series founder Al Haymon’s new Fox and Showtime deals are not due to kick off until December.
Deals which Davis is surely part of unless a collaboration could be reached between Mayweather Promotions and say, Tevin Farmer’s promoter Eddie Hearn – to allow Davis to box on Farmer’s platform DAZN.
Davis for his part only wants Abner Mares or Tevin Farmer next:
Abner or Tevin can be next…either one cool wit me. They really can just fight me the same night…both going to sleep anyway ??♂️

He also said on Farmer:
I like that y’all building Tevin Confidence he would need it after 4 loses. I really don’t need a tune up fight for him…we can fight top of the year https://t.co/h0LwRsYPsK

I promise he won’t walk me back nor stand there wit me

Well, both guys seem to want the fight.
Eddie Hearn and now Davis’ promoter Leonard Ellerbe both seem to want it, too.
It seems like a logical and easy one to make next up if everyone wants it to happen.
