Manny Pacquiao confirmed yesterday that he will be taking on Adrien Broner next up and the boxing world has been talking quite a bit about who they think will win.

One man who’s been in the news a lot lately in boxing is pound for pound maestro Vasyl Lomachenko.

A man who has won three world titles in just his first twelve pro fights.

Speaking to EsNews Lomachenko said upon hearing the Pacquiao vs Broner news:

“Yes I saw this news today (laughs). It will be interesting because all fights with Adrien Broner are interesting. He’s a very funny guy. Just one time I think it was in 2013 in Carson (I met Broner) at my second pro fight.”

Broner has caused a stir offline in recent years with many of his controversial social media posts but when he’s genuinely in love with the sport of boxing, he can still be a lethal force in the ring if he wants to be.

That said, Manny Pacquiao looked sharp last time out against Lucas Matthysse and is the more natural welterweight of the two these days – so a good scrap should be in store between the two next January.
