Floyd Mayweather and UFC champion Khabib have been linked with one another in recent days but many thought it was a load of hot air. Not the case, however.

Floyd Mayweather a short time ago told TMZ:

“Oh, we fighting. I’m my own boss. I can’t say what’s going on in Khabib’s end but I can make it happen on my end.”

Incredible stuff.

The cross promotion between boxing and mixed martial arts appears to be happening all over again.

On whether the fight would be in MMA or boxing, Mayweather said:

“He called me out so he gotta come to my world (boxing).”

On how much more he thinks the fight will make compared to his boxing match with Conor McGregor, Mayweather added:

“Yes, it’s more than the McGregor fight. Probably a hundred million dollars more, guaranteed.”

That’s a lot of money if true, as Mayweather and McGregor made out with a small fortune from their boxing match in Las Vegas.

Mayweather hasn’t fought since and has been spending his time travelling the world.

McGregor fought and lost to Khabib a couple of weeks ago back in the UFC.
