Canelo and Rocky Fielding had their first official face off today as the start of the press tour kicks off ahead of their fight this December.

The size difference between the two was considerable to put it mildly but many are pointing out, and fairly so, that Canelo’s pedigree will more than make up and equal out his size disadvantage.

But that said, Fielding must have felt good about himself today as he towered over his revered Mexican boxing foe:

The fight takes place on December 15th at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York.

Both guys come into the fight in great form but Canelo comes into it off the back of a huge win over Gennady Golovkin that moved him up most people’s top ten pound for pound lists to near the top.

While Fielding might be an unknown quantity in the US at this point – don’t write him off.

The Liverpool man grew up the hard way on a council estate on Merseyside in the UK and is as fearless as they come.

He won’t be laying down for Canelo come December 15th and will be putting it all on the line – like he does every time.
