The Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury location is reportedly now penciled in after a bidding war from different States and venues in the US.
While the actual venue isn’t confirmed just yet officially, or date, fight fans now look like they can get ready for a trip to Las Vegas in early December for a WBC world heavyweight title fight.
According to Mail Sport, Wilder replied to a conversation of Fury’s on Instagram with the comment:
“We’re going to Vegas.”
It appears the fight capital of the world has made a bit of comeback of its own this year in terms of landing big fights.
Granted, they got Mayweather vs McGregor last year and also GGG vs Canelo 1, but many of the big fights in recent years have ended up in the UK or New York.
Vegas will always have a special place in the sport’s heart and a fight for the WBC heavyweight title will no doubt have Sin City rocking come early December.
The two men met face to face last month in Belfast with both doing a face off in the ring after Fury’s second comeback victory this year against Francesco Pianeta.
Regarding venue in Las Vegas, you’d have to think either the T-Mobile Arena or MGM Grand will be the two front-runners.
