Tyson Fury Confirms Deontay Wilder Date and Venue Announcement Imminent

Fury has been keeping in shape since his second comeback win over Francesco Pianeta and after taking a two-week holiday with family, is now back in full-time training for a Deontay Wilder fight.

Gone are the days by the looks of things where Fury put on large amounts of weight straight after a fight.

He knows a professional boxing career is short and with the heavyweight division absolutely buzzing once again, big fights are there for him over the next three to five years.

At least.

There is wide speculation that the Wilder vs Fury fight could be announced formally as regards date and venue on fight week in Las Vegas of the Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez rematch which takes place on September 15th.

If true, one suspects the T-Mobile Arena will stage Wilder vs Fury for the WBC heavyweight title in early December.

Speaking today, Fury wanted to assure fans that everything is almost done as regards date and venue for the bout:

“This is a quick little video just to say thank you to the fans, thank you to everybody who supports me, thank you.”

He added:

“The fight is about to be announced with Wilder. All done nearly. Just want to keep the fans and all the people who are interested updated.”

Fury concluded:

“I feel more motivated for this fight ever. I can’t wait to put on a show for my fans. I feel like I owe you this win. Thank you so much.”

Expect date and venue to be confirmed very soon.
