It is well-known that lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders are good friends. Very, very good friends it turns out.
Fury shut out Francesco Pianeta over ten rounds last night in Belfast’s Windsor Park to set up a huge showdown against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder later this year.
Prior to the fight Saunders made headlines on Friday night of last for throwing a piece of chicken at Deontay Wilder in a fun and games type incident at Nandos restaurant.
After Fury’s win last night Wilder said jokingly he will punish Tyson Fury when they fight for Saunders throwing the chicken at him.
Saunders revealed today that Fury bought him a brand news Rolls Royce:
Thank you @Tyson_Fury for me new rolls ??♂️ pic.twitter.com/WeosIfs2VE

Not too shabby indeed.
The chicken throwing incident seems to have paid off for Saunders quite literally.
It promoted the fight last night without doubt.
Maybe Saunders will be thinking to himself there could be a future for him in the promotion game after this type of reward.
On a serious note, it’s boxing for the meantime for him.
He takes on Demetrius Andrade this coming October in Boston in a fight that will be shown live on DAZN in the United States.
