Due to adverse weather conditions the venue had to be changed for today’s weigh-ins in Belfast to the Europa Hotel at the last-minute.
Therefore it was hard for the promoters to get a stream of today’s weigh ins for all the fights but the official Tyson Fury weight for his fight against Francesco Pianeta has now been confirmed:
18st 6lbs (258lbs)
That’s considerably lighter than what he weighed for his first comeback fight against Sefer Seferi earlier this year which was:
19st 10lbs (276lbs)
This is a significant weight loss since then and shows that he and his trainer Ben Davison’s hard work over the last nine or ten months or so is really starting to pay off.
Keep in mind that Fury weighed up to 27 stone this time last year.
This is exactly what people wanted to see who want to see a Fury vs Wilder fight later this year, as Fury will need to be in career best condition for such a challenge so soon after his comeback to the sport.
