A Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury heavyweight super fight looks set to take place before the end of the year provided Fury wins this weekend.

Fury will compete against Francesco Pianeta this weekend in Belfast in a fight he is heavily favored to win.

He’s clearly put the work in for the fight and is not overlooking Pianeta.

A very serious and focused Fury has exhibited blinding hand speed for an individual of his size and proportions this week on the pads.

But surely, he’s thinking about Wilder somewhere in the back of his mind and asking himself is it too soon?

A lot will tell this Saturday in terms of how quick and sharp he looks and how he puts his shots together, as well as how his defense looks.

Many think the fight is too early for Fury this close to Christmas but the bookies disagree.

According to Odds Checker, some are actually installing Fury as the favorite at 10/11 best price at the moment – with Wilder actually slightly behind at 1/1 (evens).

Very interesting to be fair.

Considering Wilder has been the one who has been active these last few years while Fury had a near 1000 day break from the sport of boxing and had to lose eight stone up to this point.

No one knows what dramatic effect that kind of weight loss will have on him just yet.
