Chris Eubank Jr has released a statement clarifying reports recently that he was due to appear on the July 28th Dillian Whyte vs Joseph Parker card at London’s 02 Arena.
We reported last week on Boxing News and Views that Eubank Jr was set to feature on the card following a video released on television by Sky Sports clearly showing Eubank Jr in their advertisements and promotions as featuring on the card on July 28th.
This turned out to be an error however and Eubank Jr has put the record straight by saying on social media:
To be clear I was never scheduled to fight this month. I’m in Las Vegas right now training hard & there will be an ‘official’ announcement on my next fight soon #NEXTGEN

Eubank Jr was filmed earlier this year in Vegas training on the pads with old pad coach Floyd Mayweather senior and was looking in phenomenal condition following his defeat to George Groves earlier this year.
Eubank Jr’s last outing in a professional ring was the loss to Groves which came by unanimous points decision in the semi-final of the World Boxing Super Series.
