Chris Eubank Jr and Floyd Mayweather Sr Reunite – New Trainer?

Chris Eubank Jr and Floyd Mayweather Sr worked with one another a number of years back when Chris Eubank junior was living in Las Vegas. Since then they’ve found each other working on the pads every now and but now they appear to be back together.

It is not clear just yet if Eubank Jr will retain his current coaching or management team following his loss earlier this year to George Groves in the World Boxing Super Series.

A lot has been made about his father’s influence on his career and that too many voices often exist in his corner.

Renowned trainer Adam Booth had a brief stint working with Eubank Jr in recent years but that was abruptly cut short for reasons unknown.

If Eubank Jr was to choose Mayweather Sr as a full-time trainer he’d certainly be linking up with a man who has produced one of the best boxers in history, in his son, Floyd Mayweather junior.

He could also offer the defensive and skill polishing that Eubank Jr needs at this point in his career.

Eubank has always been able to whip himself into condition – but someone with the boxing IQ of Mayweather senior could fill in a lot of the technical holes.

The folks at Fight Hype YouTube have released a video of the two working together today on the pads:
