Floyd Mayweather Reacts To Terence Crawford Beating Jeff Horn

Floyd Mayweather was watching Terence Crawford’s latest win at the weekend in a victory that saw him become a three-weight world champion.

The win saw Crawford capture the WBO welterweight crown from previous belt holder Jeff Horn whom was stopped by Crawford.

Many believe that Crawford is now in the top two or three-pound for pound fighters on Earth as a result.

Mayweather rates him at the top however and while speaking to Fight Hype said:

“We know he is (Terence Crawford) pound for pound the best fighter in boxing. I’m just saying like, a fighter like that, I mean a fighter like that – he’s going to be the number one fighter over at his company (Top Rank). But things happen. S*** happens. I’m going to continue to support and root for him because I only want to see the best for him. I wish nothing but the best for him. I’m not here to sit here and bad mouth fighters. No. I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to do that. That’s what’s wrong with our sport.”

Floyd Mayweather no doubt would love to sign Crawford to his own promotional company but it’s not likely his current promoter Top Rank will be letting him go anytime soon.
