Tyson Fury and Nick Blackwell met today at Fury’s comeback fight weigh-in in Manchester.

For those that may not know, Nick Blackwell is a now retired British boxer who suffered a tragic bleed on the brain a couple of years back in a middleweight bout against Chris Eubank Jr.

Following the fight Blackwell was rushed to hospital where his condition was so severe that he needed to be placed into a medically induced coma for a significant period of time.

Doctors feared the worst for his life and said he would never walk again, but in true boxer fashion, he came back to awake from the coma and make a recovery.

Today following the weigh-ins in Manchester the lads at IFL TV YouTube captured a heart warming moment between Fury and retired boxer Blackwell:

Fury will face Sefer Seferi at approximately 10pm local time in the UK tomorrow night and the bout will be shown live on the Showtime Facebook and YouTube channels for those in the US.

That works out at approximately 2pm in the afternoon on the West coast, 5pm in the East.
