World champion Kal Yafai wowed the American boxing audience on his debut this weekend and has gone down well with fight fans on both sides of the pond it would appear.

28 year old WBA super-flyweight world champion Kal Yafai announced his debut in America with a seven round demolition job of David Carmona in Fresno this past Saturday night.

The Englishman put the Mexican down on a number of occasions in the fight on route to the stoppage in what was the standout performance of the weekend in what was a relatively quiet weekend of boxing around the globe.
