Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte shared the ring a couple of years back in a cracking contest that ultimately Whyte edged on points – but it would appear the beef is still not over.

The two have taken different career paths since, with Chisora trying to work his way back into a meaningful fight while Whyte stands on the verge of a mandatory shot at the world title.

Chisora was linked with a fight against David Haye promoted prospect Joe Joyce not long ago but talks surrounding the fight seem to have stagnated.

Whyte was linked with a fight against WBC champion Deontay Wilder but with Wilder looking set to face Anthony Joshua later in the year and Joshua possibly facing Alexander Povetkin before that fight, Whyte finds himself looking to stay busy this summer.

A Whyte vs Chisora rematch is certainly something fans would watch again given the ding-dong nature of the first scrap and the two according to these messages still have that bite for one another:

No love lost there.

Another man now in the mix at the domestic level in the UK (and above that even) is of course new British champion Hughie Fury.

A fight between him against either of the above would offer some value, too.
