Adonis Stevenson Makes Big Claim About How Good He Thinks He Is

Stevenson returns to action this weekend in a light-heavyweight unification between him and Badou Jack in one of the best light-heavyweight fights of the year thus far.

WBC champion Stevenson has always been a man never shy to speak his mind in fairness.

More often than not though he’s back it up too with those knockout fists of his – but criticisms of him ducking the division’s best fighters over the years have been leveled at him at 175lbs.

He’ll certainly take on one of the best in Badou Jack this weekend but speaking today Stevenson believes he’s the best in the division by far:

“I’m the king at light heavyweight,” said Stevenson. “I beat the king to become the king. I know that I’ve accomplished some great things and me and my team plan to continue to do everything we can to stay on top. I’m the best fighter in this division, period. When I win on May 19, I’ll just be doing my job. People might still talk trash, but I’ll still be the champ.”

He’ll have his chance to prove this claims on Saturday night live in Toronto, Canada.
