What time is the Broner fight tonight? Lets take a look at what boxing fans need to know ahead of tonight’s Adrien Broner vs Jessie Vargas fight.
The bout will take place live on Showtime as part of a Premier Boxing Champions event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The Broner vs Vargas fight will top the bill but in truth the card boasts two other just as interesting fights to look forward to.
They involve the explosive featherweight Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis (promoted by Floyd Mayweather) and the supremely gifted Jermall Charlo.
The main event sees a fired up Broner looking to bounce back from defeat in the ring to Mikey Garcia last time out, as well as bounce back from some outside the ring problems subsequently.
Las Vegan native Vargas has been humble and quietly confident all week and will enjoy a reach advantage over Broner.
The bookmakers can’t split the two with most sports book lines having the fight a 50-50.
The fight and undercard tonight will be available not only on TV but also on Showtime’s online channels on Sho.com
The fight will take place later on with coverage tabbed to start at 9pm ET in New York.
Broner has brought in a new trainer in the form of Kevin Cunningham tonight who is known for being a no-nonsense kind of guy which could be a good omen for Broner – and just what he needs.
