Today’s final press conference in New York was of the more explosive nature with one of the lead fighters going off on the promoter of the event.

It is fair to say Adrien Broner pulled no punches at today’s final press conference ahead of his fight with Jessie Vargas on Saturday night.

The bout will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and will be shown live on Showtime.

It will mark the first fight for Broner since his latest outside the ring troubles earlier this year with fans curious to see what kind of Broner will turn up come fight night.

Judging from today’s press conference he certainly is up for the fight at least.

At one point Broner ripped into his critics,

“All y’all are against me. They with this b**** a** n*****. Leonard (Ellerbe) a b**** a** n***** too. Man shut up. You ain’t with me. You ain’t with me. Shut that soft a** s*** up. All that soft talking.”

Ellerbe responded by saying:

“You don’t disrespect me like that.”

The CEO of Floyd Mayweather’s promotional company spoke calmly to reporters afterwards regarding Broner’s outburst.

Largely playing down the personal attack on him.

Mayweather Promotions will be co-promoting the event on Saturday night.
