The former heavyweight champion continues to make strides in his physical appearance as he knuckles down ahead of an announcement expected soon on his comeback fight.

After teaming up with new trainer Ben Davison – Fury has shed many pounds so far.

While no exact figure on the weight loss has been revealed as of yet, it’s safe to say he’s dropped at least 50-60lbs since last year so far.

The main question will be of course will the lifestyle he was leading for over two years or so before that, one where alcohol, substances and gaining massive amounts of weight were frequent – have done any permanent damage to his boxing career.

Indeed, this was something a good friend of Tyson’s Ricky Hatton expressed concerns about a few months back.

However Hatton, like everyone, has been impressed with the continued positive signs in Fury’s training.

A big question will also surround how is timing is after being out of the ring for what will be well over two and a half years by the time he comes back.

An opponent, venue, date and likely a new promoter should all be confirmed in the coming weeks.
