The WBC heavyweight champion recorded arguably the best win of his career at the weekend when stopping Luis Ortiz in the 10th round.
It was a fight that gained a lot of attention and one that Wilder showed considerable heart in to overcome been hurt badly in round 7 to come back and take Cuban Ortiz out in the 10th round.
Afterwards, Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn drew similarities of the performance to his charge’s win over Wladimir Klitschko last year.
While Joshua vs Wilder is the fight fans are now calling for, another promoter has come out of left field with an offer of his own:
@BronzeBomber congratulations on such a great accomplishment when everyone doubted you, hit me up when you wanna make real money and have someone who will promote you to be a PPV star.

Quite the jab at Wilder’s current promoter Lou DiBella there.
Indeed, Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has made similar accusations in the past in terms of Wilder not getting enough promotion and having to essentially promote himself.
With performances like last weekend however, if Wilder keeps on winning his name will most certainly get out there more.
